The height of these old horses is amazing, How to perch up there when we only have two or three years?

In the late 19th century are made of horses and rocking with dual casters.

Children this age are often photographed with a horse-tricycle (marriage of horse and ring, popular toy of 1880 to 1910).

Supported by three big wheels that give a lot of elegance to the toy, the horse on which mounts the child is propelled by a pedal system.

Horse-Tricycle, directed by Jugnet 1900.

In England, there is usually a pedal operated by the feet, while in France it is operated by hand as will cyclorameurs much later.

The toy horse that made the conquest of the noble child will be relayed by the new generation of vehicles with three and two wheelers (tricycles, bicycles).

Thus the faithful horse is replaced at the beginning of the century.

The horse wheeled and rocking will be gradually abandoned for cycles. In the late 19th century until the First World War, we witness the birth of many manufacturers of cycles that will gradually produce the pedal cars.
